Finally getting a post together

Hello my Substack friends! As we’ve been getting to know each other through notes and comments, I’ve shared bits and pieces of my feelings and thoughts in response to all of your deeply insightful writing. I’m loving the genuine connections we’ve been making, and now I’m finally taking the next step - starting a publication to share my own writing!

There are a lot of larger things I want to say - about applying curiosity and kindness to help understand and connect with one another better...and maybe working a bit on overturning some societal expectations that don’t serve our many different minds and experiences. And I would love this to be a community, where we tell our truths, support one another, and listen respectfully to each person’s authentic viewpoints and experiences.

I’m thinking I’ll publish on Tuesdays (probably somewhat random ones), and I’ll likely open some discussions as topics seem to inspire them. Please don’t hesitate to respond as you are able, and I will get back to you as soon as my (kind of limited and variable) bandwidth allows. Your responses will undoubtedly help shape what this will become.
